The Vice Principal of the Special Education Institute plays a critical leadership role in supporting the mission and vision of the institution. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and educational operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality special education programs and services that meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. The Vice Principal works closely with the Principal, faculty, support staff, families, and external stakeholders to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Principal in planning, organising, and overseeing all aspects of the institute’s operations.
- Supervise and support teachers, therapists, and support staff in the implementation of Individualised Education Programs (IEPs).
- Ensure compliance with special education laws, policies, and best practices.
- Lead professional development initiatives tailored to special education.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Coordinate assessments, referrals, and placement of students in appropriate educational settings.
- Monitor student progress and ensure effective data collection and reporting practices.
- Promote positive student behaviour and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with external agencies, healthcare providers, and community resources.
- Serve as acting principal in the absence of the Principal.
- Support school safety, emergency procedures, and student supervision protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, practices, and current trends.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, student-centred approach to leadership.

**Work Environment**:

- School-based setting with potential for occasional off-site meetings or events.
- Requires regular interaction with students, staff, and families.
- May involve occasional extended hours or weekend responsibilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:
