A uPVC fabricator is a skilled worker who uses specialized machinery and hand tools to precisely measure, cut, assemble, and finish uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) profiles into finished products like windows and doors, following detailed blueprints and specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the fabrication process. Key responsibilities of a uPVC fabricator:

- **Reading and interpreting blueprints**:Accurately read and understand technical drawings and plans to determine the dimensions and specifications needed for each component.
- **Measuring and cutting**:Precisely measure and cut uPVC profiles using specialized cutting tools to ensure accurate dimensions.
- **Assembly**:Join uPVC profiles together using welding machines, adhesives, or other methods, ensuring proper alignment and seals.
- **Glazing**:Install glass panes into the fabricated frames, ensuring proper fit and sealing.
- **Hardware installation**:Attach necessary hardware like handles, locks, hinges, and other fittings to the finished product.
- **Quality control**:Inspect each fabricated unit for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- **Machine operation**:Operate various fabrication machinery like profile cutting machines, welding machines, and finishing equipment.
- **Finishing touches**:Clean and polish finished products before delivery.

Required skills and knowledge:
