They create training materials, conduct workshops, evaluate trainee performance, and stay updated on industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**:
Creating and updating training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises, to address specific learning objectives.
- **Training Delivery**:
Conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, using a variety of instructional methods.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:
Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- **Staying Current**:
Keeping abreast of the latest automotive technologies, repair procedures, and safety standards.
- **Technical Expertise**:
Possessing a strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
- **Communication & Interpersonal Skills**:
Effectively communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences, providing guidance and support to trainees, and building rapport with dealership personnel.

Essential Skills:

- **Technical Proficiency**: In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and diagnostic tools.
- **Training & Facilitation Skills**: Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build rapport with trainees and dealership personnel.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and adapt training to address specific needs.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage training schedules, materials, and evaluations effectively.

Education and Experience:

- Typically, a degree in Automotive Technology or a related field is required.
- Industry certifications and significant practical experience in the automotive industry are also essential.
- Experience in training and curriculum development is highly valued.
