Wintel Systems Integration Advisor

We are currently seeking a Wintel Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

**Windows-Cloud SA Requirements**:

- Perform installation, customization and maintenance of the Windows Server operating system and system software products in support of business processing requirements for both On-premise and Cloud environment
- Expert in Windows, AWS Cloud Administration, OS/server administration, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting AWS services like EC2, networking, RDS, backups, storage (EBS, EFS, S3, Glacier), and security (Well-Architected framework).
- Possesses a strong understanding of networking concepts for configuring secure VPCs, subnets, landing zones, ACLs, and security groups.
- Experience in end-to-end cloud migrations, including strategy, assessment, design, architecture, and execution on AWS.
- Good knowledge of various AWS services like Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Transfer Family, CloudWatch, EC2, EFS, EKS, Step Functions, ELB, ACM, Directory Services, and networking.
- Hands-on expertise in designing, architecting, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud environments.
- Up-to-date on emerging technologies like cloud security, container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
- Configures cloud monitoring with native tools and integrations (ITSM, CloudWatch, New Relic, etc.).
- Strong understanding of PaaS to IaaS migration strategies.
- Adept in scripting (Python) and automation (Terraform experience preferred).

**Responsibilities as SA**:

- Perform installation, customization and maintenance of the Windows Server operating system and system software products in support of business processing requirements for both On-premise and Cloud environment
- Evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers and hardware.
- Provides in-depth diagnosis for operating systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions.
- Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-tiered environments.
- Conducts system analysis, configuration management and develops improvements for system software performance, availability and reliability.
- Implements appropriate levels of system security. Maintain security patching and remediating vulnerabilities, propose solutions for the same.
- Perform incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with service level. Knowledge of ITIL.
- Recommend and implement modifications to the server environment, Innovation, Ideas to improve
- Preparation of Standard Documents and periodically review them for modifications
- Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.
- Maintain Server Inventory updated and accurate.
- Maintain checks for server's backup and monitoring solutions.
- Provides technical expertise for system transitions, migrations and consolidations.
- Understands and foresees implications of decisions.
- Knowledge of industry and business principles.
- Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner.
- Independently develops solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional or customer objectives.
- Forecasts, models, and utilizes advanced analytical tools.
- Creates new procedures and processes to drive desired results.
- Handles diverse range of issues that require evaluation of a variety of factors including current business trends.
- Articulates pros and cons of an action in a clear manner.
- Develops skills to analyze ambiguous problems.
- Enhances own knowledge through understanding business trends and objectives.
- Regularly interacts with colleagues or customers generally up to senior level management
- May provide technical guidance or influence the work of others.
- Updates management on project/activity status.
- Contributes to area by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- 12+ years of overall experience
- 6+ years of AWS experience
- 6+ years of experience working in a diverse cloud support environment in a 24*7 production support model.

**Preferred Certifications**:

- AWS SysOps Administrator/Solutions Architect Associate Certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification

**Work Timings**:

- Should be willing to work in a rotational shift with a 24x7 support window.
