**Job Summary**:
The Bursar is a key administrative position within an educational institution or organization. The primary responsibility of the Bursar is to manage the financial operations related to student tuition, fees, and other financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Accounts Management**: Oversee the billing and collection of student tuition, fees, and other charges.
Process and reconcile student payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
Respond to student inquiries regarding their accounts, payment options, and financial obligations.

**Financial Reporting and Analysis**: Prepare financial reports related to student accounts, revenue, and collections. Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast cash flow, and support decision-making.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain budgets, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.

**Financial Policies and Compliance**: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures related to student accounts and collections.
Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines.
Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation and reports as requested.

**Student Financial Aid**: Collaborate with the financial aid office to ensure accurate and timely processing of student financial aid awards, scholarships, and grants.
Assist students with understanding their financial aid packages and options.
Coordinate the disbursement of financial aid funds and maintain appropriate records.

**Customer Service and Communication**: Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, faculty, and staff regarding financial matters.
Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Conduct financial literacy workshops and orientation sessions for students and parents.

**System and Process Management**: Utilize financial management software or systems to record and maintain student financial data accurately.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to student accounts, payment collection, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain efficient financial systems and troubleshoot any technical issues.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Experience in managing student accounts or financial operations within an educational institution is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using financial management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
