Teacher of Mathematics

**Job Title**: Mathematics Teacher (Grades 8-10)

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach mathematics concepts and problem-solving techniques to students in grades 8-10, following the prescribed curriculum and standards.
- Assess students’ understanding regularly through tests, assignments, and projects, and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare students for board exams and other standardized assessments by reinforcing core mathematical concepts.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and curiosity.
- Identify students who need extra support and provide remedial help or enrichment activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
- Integrate technology and modern teaching methods into instruction to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Master’s preferred).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in middle or high school (grades 8-10).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a love for mathematics.
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools, digital platforms, and educational technology.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with board exam preparation (e.g., CBSE/ICSE/State Boards).
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with colleagues.
