*Overview: *
*Responsibilities: *
1. Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential health and safety hazards.
2. Evaluate workplace practices and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
3. Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and reduce occupational hazards.
4. Collaborate with management and employees to develop and maintain safety policies and procedures.
5. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
7. Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
8. Stay updated on changes to environmental regulations and industry best practices.
9. Participate in audits and assessments to assess compliance with internal and external standards.
10. Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
*Qualifications: *
1. Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Certification in environmental health and safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) is highly desirable.
3. Minimum of 3-4 of experience in environmental health and safety inspection, preferably in Automotive.
4. Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, safety standards, and hazard identification techniques.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
