**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver online tutoring sessions in mathematics and reasoning to students of various grade levels (elementary, middle school, high school, and beyond).
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the individual learning needs and goals of each student.
- Use effective teaching strategies and techniques to explain mathematical concepts, problem-solving methods, and reasoning skills.
- Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their understanding and performance in math and reasoning.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and assessments, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Communicate with students and parents to provide updates on progress, discuss learning goals, and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards, educational trends, and best practices in math and reasoning instruction.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to share resources, strategies, and ideas for improving student learning outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in mathematics or reasoning, either in a classroom setting or through tutoring.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment.
- Proficiency in using online tutoring platforms and educational technology tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Khan Academy).
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, based on student availability and scheduling needs.
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Teaching certification or credentials in mathematics or education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with special needs.
- Familiarity with standardized testing formats and preparation strategies for math and reasoning exams (e.g., SAT, ACT, GRE).
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Experience developing and implementing differentiated instruction plans to meet the needs of individual students.
