**Job Objective**
- To lead the Cloud Architecture team within the Cloud COE to meet Group and BU requirements inline with Group IT directives
- To define and manage the cloud blueprint for the group where the Cloud Applications Infra and Platform Architecture reside; to create, modify, manage its alignment to overall enterprise and cloud architecture guidelines

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Understand the group’s long-term business strategies and goals, and formulate Cloud architectural strategy and roadmap
- Drive and monitor strategic Cloud architectural projects and initiatives across all businesses
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively promote cloud adoptions across all stakeholders- Be a Cloud COE evangelist with employers, customers, partners and external
- communities
- Enterprise Architecture Design and Review
- Actively participate and contribute to the Architecture review board (ARB)and guide ARB to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions in support of business needs and in alignment current and desired IT ecosystem
- Design and oversee establishment of BU specific Google Cloud architecture in alignment with overall enterprise architecture framework
- Evaluate architecture & review solutions, technical parameters of third-party products for new initiatives proposed to the COE
- Ensure alignment of the business level architecture with overall enterprise architecture guidelines & get signoffs for any exceptions / non-compliances
- Review projects as per established milestones to ensure compliance to specifications from IT and cloud architecture perspective**Operational Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
- Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Technology / Engineering teams to remove key blockers**Stakeholder Management**

Act as trusted technical advisor, and identify priorities, technical objections and design strategies encompassing the entire Google ecosystem do deliver business value and resolve blockers
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with all BUs and engage with Enterprise and Solution Architects, Engineering, other top IT and business stakeholders**People Management**

Drive a performance driven culture - Set goals, review performance and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team

- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within the team and across teams**Job Profile Minimum qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Rich experience in the cloud market, competitive dynamics, and customer buying behaviours
- Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in designing cloud strategy and blueprint for large and diversified organizations with multi-industry presence
- Experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment/preferably experience in a customer-facing role.
- Certification in one or more of the public clouds like AWS, GCP or Azure. GCP preferred.**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments/roadmaps.
- Experience in building, architecting, designing/implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems.
- Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies like containerization and kubernetes, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
- Subject matter expertise in two or more of the following Data Platform Cloud solutions - Big Data DWslike Snowflake, GCP’s Big Query or AWS Redshift and expertise in two or more data estate workloads likeSAP HANA, BW), Hadoop, Cloudera/Hortonworks, Apache Spark- Proven track record of building deep relationships with senior business executives. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/projects.**Key Skills**:
