Roles & Responsibilities:

- Conduct research of foreign & domestic companies to locate information on defaults and bankruptcies using a variety of sources including financial reports, news and online sources.
- Standardize data from multiple sources for input into a centralized MA Public Default Database.
- Review and maintain the quality of collected information, source search, extracting and reporting information
- Analyse default data and be comfortable with R and relational databases.
- Provide support to the internal research team regarding data validation, credit risk model monitoring, case studies of defaulted companies.
- Develop content, high-quality documentation and reviews for new features.
- Assist with internal and external data partners on contractual, service and usage issues.

.Requires min of 2-4 years in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field

Business Level English is a must Strong quantitative and problem solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal/written) skills
- Ability to read and understand financial reports such as 10K and 10Q
- Familiarity with foreign and domestic bankruptcy/insolvency laws is a strong plus
- Knowledge and experience in MS Access, MS Excel, SQL, Stata, R, Python, AWS preferred
- Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and other regional accounting principles is a plus
- Reading ability in other foreign languages (e.g. Mandarin, German, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) is a plus.
