Senior Testing Analyst

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Leads internal and external audit projects, and ensures follow up with a timely response on corrective action.
- Appraises the correctness and efficiency of testing methods, analyzes and presents the results of testing sessions, and troubleshoots technical problems and issues.
- Implements testing tools and processes for use in projects, and directs the selection of testing tools and approaches.
- Monitors the design and development of usability testing programs, cases, scenarios and processes to ensure that all functions are thoroughly tested.
- Presents metrics to demonstrate the impact implemented IT changes have made to the organization.

Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience
- 3 Years Required; 5 Years Preferred

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Define the test strategies for Functional, Regression and Smoke Testing
- Understand and implement the testing processes
- Prepare functional test plans
- Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution phases
- Plan & coordinate for timely availability of the test data & environments
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams and support partners across US & India
- Ensure that all post test execution wrap up activities are conducted for projects per procedure / requirements
- Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals / milestones, task status, and identify / address issues

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Define and Implement the QA metrics framework
- Identify & drive the improvement opportunities in the QA space

Functional Knowledge

Desired Experience
- Good Understanding of Asset Management Domain and attribution/reporting projects.
- Ability to create test data, test plan.
- Ability to perform data comaprision between different sources.
- Ability to query database to validate data / ability to view and compare data files to identify differences
- Ability to perform data validation in Excel and should have basic execel operation knowledge
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development process.

Nice to have
- Performance Testing knowledge preferred
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvement

Technical Skills

Desired Skills
- Good understanding of UI Functional Testing, API Testing.
- Excellent in SQL and data analysis skills

Nice to have
- Testing Certifications Ex: ISTQB, HP UFT Certifications, PMP and Oracle Certifications etc.
