**Job Title: Maintenance Officer (Ready Mix Concrete Industry)**

**Experience:

- 3-5 years**
**Salary Range**: ₹3,00,000 - ₹5,00,000 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)
**Location - Mumbai**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on batching plant machinery, mixers, conveyors, and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any part replacements.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all plant equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the condition of plant equipment and identify potential issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is conducted in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- **Repairs and Upgrades**:

- Coordinate and perform major repairs, including overhauls, part replacements, and system upgrades.
- Work closely with the production team to schedule repairs and minimize plant downtime.
- Ensure timely procurement of spare parts and materials for the plant, working with the inventory and procurement teams.
- **Health, Safety, and Compliance**:

- Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure that plant equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition.
- Assist in identifying hazards, mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Vendor & Contractor Coordination**:

- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors for specialized equipment repairs, maintenance, or upgrades.
- Monitor the performance of third-party contractors to ensure that their work meets the required quality standards and is completed on time.
- **Inventory & Spare Parts Management**:

- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and tools for plant equipment.
- Ensure that materials, tools, and spare parts are properly stocked and available to minimize downtime during emergency repairs.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports for management, highlighting ongoing issues, completed repairs, and upcoming maintenance schedules.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance operations in the ready-mix concrete or construction industry.
- Proven expertise in maintaining heavy machinery and equipment used in the production of ready-mix concrete (e.g., batching plants, concrete mixers, conveyors).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment blueprints.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
