**Job Summary**:
The Staff Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to mothers, newborns, and children. The role involves assisting doctors, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care**:

- Provide compassionate and efficient care to mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients.
- Monitor vital signs and assess the condition of patients.
- Assist in labor and delivery, neonatal care, and postnatal care.
- Support breastfeeding mothers and provide lactation guidance.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV fluids as per hospital protocols.
- Maintain hygiene and infection control practices in patient care areas.

**2. Assistance in Medical Procedures**:

- Assist doctors during labor, delivery, and surgical procedures.
- Handle emergency situations such as neonatal resuscitation and postpartum hemorrhage.
- Perform routine medical procedures such as injections, dressings, and catheterization.

**3. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication charts and nursing notes.
- Report any changes in patient conditions to doctors and senior nursing staff.
- Ensure proper handover between shifts for continuity of care.

**4. Patient Education and Counseling**:

- Educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Provide counseling on family planning and maternal health.

**5. Safety and Infection Control**:

- Adhere to hospital infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and patient areas.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in maternity, neonatal, or pediatric care preferred.
- **Registration**: Must be a registered nurse with the State Nursing Council.
- **Skills**:

- Strong clinical skills in maternal and child healthcare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies with confidence and composure.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
