**Role **:Wiring Harness designer

**Qualification**:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering

**Experience**:2-3 YRS of experience

**Tool Knowledge**:Zuken E3 and Cero Cabling Wiring Harness

**Job description**:

- Design of 3D wiring harness and Creation of wiring harness 2D drawings
- 2D + 3D releases Management for EE components and parts

**Competency Requirement**
- Experience in Circuit Schematic design in Zuken E3
- EDS Design calculations
- Power distribution, Ground distribution, Resistance calculations, Voltage drop and Short circuit fuse blow analysis
- EDS Schematic Topology design for vehicle platforms, Vehicle electrical architecture & CAN backbone design
- 3D wiring harness layout creations, routing in Cero Cabling
- Clamping, brackets/panel design for the wiring and cables for packaging and routing.
- 2D drawing in both Zuken E3 and Creo Cabling
- Selection of fuses, relays, connectors, wires, coverings, parking clips/clamps.
- In depth Knowledge of Automotive Wiring Harness Design Standards.
- Knowledge of Automotive Wiring Harness Manufacturing Process.
- Sound Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Components.
- Engineering process tools such as DFMEA, 8D, ECN, etc.
- Knowledge of design aspects for automotive circuits, wiring harness, GD&T analysis of assembly.
- Interaction with CFT for input collection & interface sign off
- Benchmarking, Cost Reduction, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFM
- Adherence to Design processes & WCQ requirements,
- Virtual analysis & design calculations
- Data management & releases as per guidelines.
