**Introduction**:
This is a Test Automation engineer position. The responsibility involves, designing and enhancing automation framework, developing & maintaining automated regression pack, resolving all operation issue related to execution and maintenance and also perform manual functional testing wherever required

**What will you be doing?**
- Analysis & Test Design:

- Actively engage with Business Analysts and IT partners in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes.
- Interpret and understand functional specifications
- Designing the Development and Testing Strategy, Test Plan and Test cases
- Working independently on all phases of development and testing
- Actively manage the defect life cycle
- Test Data creation
- Automating tests using Cucumber/Selenium
- Participating in daily scrum stand-up meetings, explaining progress and issues encountered.
- Creating an automation test plan and getting approval
- Support regression development and testing, impact assessment which shall be on demand basis

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience of delivering new automation setup
- Extensive knowledge of Agile Test estimation techniques approaches and processes
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all Programme/Project disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

- Strong hands on experience in software testing with considerable experience in test management
- Proficient in creating automation framework using Java, Selenium, Cucumber & Gherkin.
- Good knowledge of SQL & Unix and Environments
- Experience with Banking Technology/Payments domain.

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Exposure to DevOps, middleware automation
- Experience of using test management tools (e.g. Jira / Rally) to manage testing activity and to provide testing metrics
- Easily adaptable to changes - work demands / schedules / management
