We are looking to hire an In-House Nurse for a senior living premium facility in Kochi.

**About the role**

To ensure the direct care needs of residents are met, through overseeing and evaluating care plans and individualized nursing needs of the residents.

Nurse must be ready to stay in the facility and cope with emotional, physical, and mental challenges in caring for the elderly. Compassion and sensitivity to the needs of the residents is a must. They are often physically frail, and several of them experience confusion or disorientation. You must be caring and supportive, as well as respectful when dealing with your patient. A nurse should have at least 1-2 years of nursing experience with exposure to an aged care setting.

Responsible for the health and wellbeing of Season Two Senior Living population, who are no longer capable of caring for themselves. It is a demanding but challenging job, that involves a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. With the growing population, the demand for nurses is on the rise, making it a secure career choice for the aspiring nurse.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- To perform all nursing duty/ skilled nursing services under the different business verticals.
- Supervision of the task performed by the Healthcare Assistant.
- Monitoring resident health and vitals on daily basis; Report to the manager about nursing activities on daily basis.
- To attend any medical emergency as when it arises
- Provision of consistently high-quality care to patients; Liaise with Doctor regarding resident condition, provide treatment and administer medication according to physician orders
- Prepare care plan and diet plan for residents; communicate with HAs assigned (if any), physiotherapist or/ and F&B executive
- Provide relevant trainings for the HAs both in-house and arrange for external trainers if required
- Be available on call for emergencies in off hours
- Documentation of medical records like vital signs, medication intake, patient assessment, etc.
- Medical Assessment of prospective clients prior to confirmation
- Assisting in admission and help ease the transition for patients and their families
- Delivery of medication to residents following policy and procedure
- Must stay in the facility and should be available 24 hours.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- GNM or BSC Nursing
- 1-2 years of Hospital or Rehab experience
- Valid legal registration of nursing council (mandatory)

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
