JOB PURPOSE

Develop and design products, equipment and tools to be able to produce product that meets high quality requirements and performance standards.

Analyses equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- _ Planning of CAM programs based on inputs from Raps - Production reporting system._
- _ Expertise in CAM program (3 Axis ,4 Axis and 5 Axis) in UG-NX_
- _ Support execution of CAM program on machine._
- _ Knowledge in cutting tool design._
- _ Enhancement of program strategy to reduce cycle time and minimize cutting tool consumption._
- Ensure manufacturing capabilities and efficiencies are taken into consideration while designing and making CAM
- Work cross functionally to develop optimum solutions for end users.
- _ Should be a team player._
- Collaborate with manufacturing to continuously improve programming strategy.
- Have a process mindset and continuously improve processes, methods, and assignments.
- Flexible enough to work on CAM/ CAD and on machine.
- CMM programming knowledge.

COMPETENCIES / SKILL
- Ability to interpret drawings including GD&T.
- M3 ERP system.
- NX CAD experience
- NX CAM experience
- intermediate knowledge of 5 Axis machines
- Basic material knowledge.
- Intermediate cutting tool knowledge
