Patient Care:Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Helping patients with mobility, including transferring them in and out of bed or wheelchairs.
Monitoring and documenting vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Feeding patients who may have difficulty eating on their own.
Assisting with medication reminders or administration, as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional.

Comfort and Support:Providing emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those who may be feeling anxious, lonely, or in pain.
Ensuring that patients are comfortable by adjusting pillows, blankets, and the bed as needed.
Responding to patient requests and addressing their concerns to the best of their ability.

Safety:Maintaining a safe environment for patients by keeping their surroundings clean and organized.
Helping to prevent accidents or falls by being vigilant and assisting with mobility as needed.
Following infection control protocols and maintaining good hand hygiene.

Communication:Reporting any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff or healthcare team.
Communicating with patients and their families to keep them informed and involved in the care process.

Record Keeping:Documenting care activities and observations in the patient's medical records, as required by the healthcare facility.

Personal Care and Hygiene:Assisting with personal hygiene tasks such as oral care, nail care, and hair care.
Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for patients.

Equipment and Supplies:Ensuring that medical equipment, such as oxygen tanks or assistive devices, are properly maintained and available for patient use.

Adherence to Protocols:Following all healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols to provide safe and effective care to patients.

Flexibility:Being adaptable and responsive to the changing needs of patients, as well as any emergent situations in the healthcare setting.

Patient attendants play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of care for patients, particularly those who are hospitalized or receiving long-term care. They work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the appropriate care and support. **Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,730.65 per month
