**About the Role**

You will be responsible for **database administration, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting** to ensure seamless performance of mission-critical systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage **DB2 LUW architecture**, installation, instance creation, and product setup.
- Create and maintain **database objects** (tables, indexes, views, tablespaces, stored procedures).
- Implement **backup & restore strategies** (online, offline, point-in-time recovery).
- Perform **tablespace management, reorg (online/offline), and data movement utilities**.
- Configure & maintain **HADR** for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Monitor database health using **PD, TOP, and monitoring tools**.
- Conduct **performance tuning** (DBM/DB parameters, query tuning using EXPLAIN/ADVISE).
- Handle **redirect restores between servers** and **database upgrades/rollback plans**.
- Implement **replication setups (SQL & Q)** for primary-to-standby environments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to **logs, rollback segments, tablespaces, I/O errors, data corruption**.
- Define **naming conventions, data structures, storage parameters, and security rules**.
- Estimate and recommend **storage requirements**.
- Support **day-to-day database administration & performance optimization**.

**Mandatory Skills**
- DB2 LUW Administration (5-8 Years)
- Strong knowledge of **DB2 architecture & basic commands**:

- HADR configuration & maintenance
- Backup/restore & recovery management
- Tablespace, index & object management
- Database installation, maintenance & upgrades
- Query tuning & performance optimization
- Replication setup (SQL/Q)
- Linux/Unix administration skills

**Preferred Skills**
- Strong **problem-solving & troubleshooting** abilities
- Experience in **security/access management**:

- Knowledge of **storage estimation & capacity planning**:

- Exposure to **cloud/enterprise-level DB2 environments**

Pay: ₹10,186.16 - ₹51,627.70 per month
