**Job Description for Personal Security Officer**

About our Organization

We are seeking a Personal Security Officer (PSO) will be responsible for providing personalized security services to a designated individual or client. Leveraging extensive training and experience gained from the National Security Guard and possessing a valid arm license, the PSO will ensure the safety and well-being of the client through vigilant protection and threat mitigation.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Close Protection**:

- Provide close protection to the client, ensuring their safety during all activities and movements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

2. **Surveillance**:

- Monitor the surroundings for any suspicious activities or potential security risks.
- Utilize advanced surveillance techniques to maintain a high level of situational awareness.

3. **Security Planning**:

- Collaborate with the client to develop and implement personalized security plans.
- Devise contingency plans for emergency situations, coordinating with relevant authorities.

4. **Transportation Security**:

- Ensure the security of the client during travel, both domestically and internationally.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and implement security measures during transit.

5. **Communication**:

- Maintain clear and efficient communication with the client and relevant security personnel.
- Utilize communication devices effectively to respond to emerging situations.

6. **Firearm Expertise**:

- Carry and responsibly use firearms in accordance with legal and safety guidelines.
- Regularly maintain and inspect firearms to ensure proper functionality.

7. **Emergency Response**:

- Act decisively in emergency situations, providing immediate and effective responses.
- Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement as necessary.

8. **Training and Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest security and defense strategies.
- Provide training to other security personnel, if required.

**Qualifications**:
1. **NSG Retiree**:

- Previous service in the National Security Guard is mandatory.

2. **Arm License**:

- Possession of a valid arm license is required.

3. **Military/Defense Background**:

- Previous experience in the defense forces is essential.

4. **Physical Fitness**:

- Must be in excellent physical condition to meet the demands of the role.

5. **Communication Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

6. **Problem-Solving**:

- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.

7. **Adaptability**:

- Flexibility to adjust to changing security situations and client needs.

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 10 years (preferred)
- Security: 10 years (preferred)
