As a Stationery Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the stationery shop. Your responsibilities will involve assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, organizing products, and providing support to the store manager and team. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to assist will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Assistance**:Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance in locating products and answering inquiries.
Offer product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently through the point-of-sale (POS) system.

**Product Organization**:Arrange stationery products on shelves and displays in an organized and visually appealing manner.
Regularly restock shelves and ensure products are well-organized and labeled.
Maintain awareness of stock levels and inform the manager when items need to be replenished.

**Inventory Support**:Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries.
Check received products for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the manager.
Help with inventory counts and stock checks as directed by the manager.

**Sales and Promotion**:Support sales efforts by informing customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special offers.

**Assist with Displays**:Assist the manager in creating attractive product displays and keeping them up-to-date.
Help implement seasonal and promotional displays to attract customer attention.

**Cash Handling**:Process customer payments accurately using the POS system.
Provide correct change and issue receipts to customers.

**Assist Manager and Team**:Follow instructions from the shop manager and assist in tasks related to daily operations.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (required)
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
