**Job Summary**: A **Video Editor** is a professional responsible for transforming raw footage captured by a film crew and director into a cohesive video or film. They follow an outline, script, and any special instructions to create a seamless visual experience for the audience. If you’re hiring for this role, consider the following details:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Trim footage segments** and assemble the sequence of the film.
- **Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects** to enhance the final product.
- **Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running** of the video.
- **Consult with stakeholders** throughout the production and post-production process.
- **Stay updated on editing technologies and industry best practices** to maximize efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities for Instagram Reels:

- **Short-Form Storytelling**: Instagram Reels are typically **15 to 60 seconds long**. The Video Editor must condense content while maintaining a captivating narrative.
- **Music and Audio Integration**: Reels often feature **popular music tracks**, voiceovers, or sound effects. The Editor should synchronize audio seamlessly with visuals.
- **Text and Captions**: Adding **text overlays**, captions, and hashtags enhances Reels’ impact. The Editor ensures legibility and visual appeal.
- **Trending Challenges and Hashtags**: Staying updated on **Instagram trends** helps create relevant and shareable Reels.

Requirements and Skills:

- **Proven work experience** as a Video Editor.
- **Solid experience** with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut).
- **Demonstrable video editing ability** with a strong portfolio.
- **Thorough knowledge** of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Familiarity with **special effects, 3D, and compositing**.
- **Creative mindset** and storytelling skills.
- **Bachelor’s degree** in film studies, cinematography, or a related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
