**Primary Responsibilities**
- As a Software Quality Engineer, you will join a team of Quality Engineering experts who are passionate and hands-on to be responsible for developing innovative consumer-centric solutions and practices to drive Quality with a Shift Left approach in building Product solutions
- Work closely with Internal or Customer based Engineering, Product Management, Release Management teams and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace
- Liaising with stakeholders to design comprehensive test strategies and their associated automated tests & metrics
- Developing configurable, maintainable, reusable, and performant test automation suites that empower teams to increase efficiency and product quality
- Integrate with deployment infrastructure to establish a continuous integration and delivery
- Analyzing functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Create the ability to work as a team to deliver end to end quality products ensuring time to market
- Strong working experience driving and working with Factory delivery model with Run ahead, pre-factory, and factory teams working in collaboration
- Passionate to innovate & implement ideas to address efficiency, best practices, improved processes, and custom solutions
- Drive initiatives to provide value additions to the customer by addressing opportunities for improvements as part of Quality deliverables

**Qualifications/Skillset Requirements**:
Bachelors in Computer Science or another technical field

12 to 15 years relevant work experience

6+ years of working as SDET

Highly proficient in Java, J2EE scripting languages.

Must build a robust extensible automation framework tailored to requirements on platforms surrounding Web UI and Web service.

Must have strong experience of Design Patterns used for Test Automation

Must design framework components with a plug-and-play approach.

Must have commanding knowledge on Selenium and HttpClient Libraries or RestAssured or Jetty

Should have explored BDD-based automation tools like Cucumber, JBehave, SpecFlow, etc.

Should be familiar with remote execution tools like SeleniumGrid, SauceLabs, Perfecto, etc

Must have commanding knowledge on Maven/Gradle/Ant

Must have a commanding knowledge of TestNG, Cucumber, Junit, YAML.

Must be comfortable working with Cloud Infrastructure using AWS or other providers

Must have experience in formulating a Process revolving automation framework.

Must have conducted various training workshops on the framework

Experience with build, testing, and continuous integration tools

Should have worked on source code management tools like GIT/SVN and managed the admin role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in a global matrix organization

Ability to quickly understand code and specifications

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Automation framework or solutions''

Lead a team and deliver with Agile/Kanban methodology.

Strategize Risk-based planning and prioritization for building Automation assets

Partner with QA managers and directors in establishing best practices for automation

Evangelize the framework across multiple modules with a clear understanding of existing tools.

Plan and design an ecosystem of tools revolving around the framework and remote execution to assist functional teams.

Review and manage configurations, build, branching, and deployment issues w.r.t to Framework and relevant tools.

Partner with functional champions to gather requirements for stubs or tools.

Assist in customizing automation framework to fit needs.

Write utilities/automation tools using Java, Groovy, and JS

Conduct workshops and sessions to transform engineers into Automation Champions.

Formulate automation best practices guidelines.

Create extensive documentation with examples for framework/tools.

Document process and designs on a timely basis
