Laboratory Technician for Mining Industry.

**Job Description**:
To contribute to the running of the laboratory by sorting, layout and preparation of laboratory samples, the technician will work under the Mineral chemist to prepare samples for analysis in the mineral testing laboratory.

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking samples against information on the sample submittal form.
- Performing listed routine Prep tasks below independently.
- Sorting client samples in alphanumeric order as per client list
- Layout samples on drying racks and dry samples in the oven.
- Crushing and splitting samples and keeping rejects for appropriate storage.
- Cleaning equipment between samples.
- May pulverize samples using two pulverizing machines simultaneously.
- Record received weight for all samples and transfer pulp to laboratory sample envelopes.
- Housekeeping and proper handling of samples and related consumables and equipment.
- Following all HSE and QC protocols of the Sample Prep department and the laboratory as a whole.
- Flexibility with assisting in other lab departments.
- Daily housekeeping and the removal of waste to the waste disposal bins.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
