**Company Description**:
We are looking for an embedded system expert to join our Artificial Pancreas project. The role is focused on the hardware and software aspects of embedded systems.
**Responsibilities**
- To develop a modular code-base that can be deployed on ARM-based devices
- To design, fabricate and test a portable insulin delivery device.
- To develop a front-end intuitive Graphic user interface for the ARM-based device
- To develop embedded codes that can monitor and control wireless communication, LCD integration, and other subsystems of a device
- To work with the mechanical team to build integrated prototypes, leading to an industrial product
**Basic Qualifications**
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and Embedded C
- Awareness in communication protocols (such as UART, I2C, SPI)
- Understanding of the fundamental workings of Electric motors/drivers, Sensors, LCDs, Bluetooth modules and other components
**Desired Qualifications and Skills**:
- Multiple projects completed in ARM-based systems
- Well-versed in data structures and coding
- Good communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
- Should be able to work in a team environment
- Willing to learn new technologies
- Analyse technical problems, diagnose the root cause and provide structured solutions
