**Job Description: Physiotherapist**

**Salary**:30k to 60k per month

**1. Overview of the Role**

The physiotherapist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients suffering from musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. With a focus on holistic healing, the physiotherapist will integrate modern rehabilitation techniques while aligning care practices with the core ethos of the Gurudwara-managed healthcare facility.

**2. Key Responsibilities**

**Clinical Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose physical conditions and impairments.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
- Utilize evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as electrotherapy, manual therapy, hydrotherapy, and exercise rehabilitation.
- Offer post-surgical rehabilitation services for orthopedic and neuro patients.
- Guide patients in injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to enhance overall well-being.

**Administrative & Research Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment strategies, and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and integrate new methodologies.

**Patient & Community Engagement**:

- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, postural corrections, and injury prevention strategies.
- Conduct awareness sessions within the Sikh community to promote preventive physiotherapy.
- Organize physiotherapy workshops at the Gurudwara to encourage holistic healing approaches.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or electrotherapy are preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in physiotherapy practice, preferably within hospital settings.
- Experience in treating orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions is highly desirable.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities.
- Excellent patient interaction and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of Sikh traditions and community values, ensuring culturally aligned patient care.
