Ivf Counsellor

Job Summary:
As an IVF Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and couples who are undergoing or considering fertility treatment, particularly In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Your primary responsibility will be to provide emotional support, guidance, and counseling to patients throughout their journey, helping them navigate the complex and emotionally challenging process of fertility treatment. You will work closely with medical professionals, including fertility specialists, nurses, and psychologists, to ensure holistic care for patients.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide individual and couples counseling to patients undergoing IVF treatment, addressing emotional, psychological, and social concerns related to infertility.

Assess patients' emotional well-being, identify coping strategies, and develop personalized counseling plans to meet their specific needs.

Offer guidance and support in decision-making processes, including treatment options, donor selection, and embryo disposition.

Conduct pre-treatment counseling sessions to prepare patients for the emotional aspects of IVF treatment, manage expectations, and address any concerns or fears.

Facilitate support groups and educational workshops to provide patients with a safe space for sharing experiences and gaining knowledge about fertility treatment.

Collaborate with fertility specialists and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting counseling sessions, assessments, and treatment plans.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in fertility treatment, counseling techniques, and relevant research to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Liaise with external organizations, such as adoption agencies or donor banks, to provide appropriate referrals and support for patients considering alternative paths to parenthood.

Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements related to patient confidentiality, informed consent, and professional conduct.

**Salary**: Up to ₹25,346.18 per month
