Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
This is a hybrid role supporting the Climate Risk team in ensuring full BCBS239 compliance for Climate Risk and supporting the TECC Risk Chief of Staff team on governance deliverables across the transaction cycle, including coordination of the New and Amended Product Approval (NAPA) pipeline effectively, secretariat support for TECC Risk governance committees, and support on other internal/external governance and reporting deliverables.

What will you be doing?
- Climate Risk Data Governance and Reporting:

- Support with data governance and risk reporting relating to the Climate Risk Data Domain
- Coordinate the bi-annual TECC BCBS239 scope refresh and Risk Reporting Review
- NAPA co-ordination:

- Act as an SME on NAPA policies and standards within TCR
- Review all NAPA proposals and Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and manage them to completion, acting as the liaison between TCR team and NAPA co-ordinators.
- Manage the re-opening of NAPA proposals following NAPA Quality Assurance review.
- Produce weekly and monthly NAPA status reports and share with key stakeholders, including TECC Risk NAPA Lead.
- Risk Committees and forums: Engagement on TECC Risk governance meetings including agenda setting, consolidating papers, and capturing actions.
- Coordinate materials and responses for various internal and external governance and reporting deliverables (e.g., Annual reports, Credit Rating Agency updates, etc.)

What we’re looking for:

- A graduate in a numerical discipline or comparable work experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills essential.
- Prior experience working in a financial institution.
- Experience of working in a risk, control, governance or assurance function.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the TECC Data Domain functions
- A high-level understanding of the aims of BCBS239 preferred
- Familiarity with the risk management framework principles
