**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Interpretation Services**:

- Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between German and [target language] in various contexts (e.g., meetings, conferences, phone calls, medical appointments, legal proceedings).
- Interpret both verbal and non-verbal communication accurately, ensuring no loss of meaning or tone.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality while interpreting sensitive information.
- **Client and Stakeholder Interaction**:

- Work closely with clients, teams, or professionals to ensure smooth communication.
- Act as a liaison for German-speaking clients or stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Assist clients in understanding key concepts, instructions, and information, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- **Cultural Mediation**:

- Be mindful of cultural differences and provide cultural context during interpretation when necessary.
- Guide non-German speakers in understanding cultural norms, etiquette, and communication styles of German-speaking individuals.
- **Translation and Documentation Support**:

- Occasionally assist in translating written materials from German to [target language] and vice versa, maintaining the integrity of the original message.
- Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure accuracy and proper language use.
- **Maintaining Language Proficiency**:

- Continuously improve linguistic skills by staying updated with language trends, terminology, and cultural nuances.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including language courses, workshops, and industry certifications.
- **Professionalism and Ethics**:

- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, impartiality, and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow ethical guidelines and standards of practice as set forth by industry organizations and the company.
- Respond to emergencies or urgent interpreting situations promptly.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as an interpreter, with a focus on German and [target language] interpretation in various settings (business, medical, legal, etc.).
- Experience in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation is highly desirable.
- Experience working in specific industries (e.g., healthcare, legal) is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Fluent in both German and [target language], with superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to quickly process and translate information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of maintaining professionalism and neutrality in all situations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, especially in fast-paced environments
- **Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with interpretation equipment and tools (e.g., headsets, microphones, translation apps).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
