Shift Incharge Production (Silica Division)

**Reports To**: Asst Manager(Production), Vice President(Silica Division)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire manufacturing process of Sodium Silicate plant and Precipitated Silica plant during the shift.

2. Manage sodium silicate process, reactor, spray dryer, tank farm, filter press, liquefaction, granulation, milling, packing section.

3. Manpower planning, handling & management, work allocation, etc. for shift operators.

4. Lead and mentor the production team, providing training and development opportunities.

5. Ensure adherence to quality assurance and control measures.

6. Handle day-to-day production data, prepare monthly reports, and manage the shift.

7. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and ensure smooth operation of the DCS system.

8. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance with ISO, IATF and audit requirements.

9. Prepare work permits for hot work, cold work, height work, and vessel entry.

10. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

11. Manage project timelines and resources for successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

12. Oversee utilities management including compressors, steam consumption, water consumption, etc

13. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

**Required Experience**:
**1. **Minimum of 10 years of experience in food, pharma, chemical, dairy, and nutraceutical industries.

**2. **Proven experience in operations, manpower management, equipment handling in chemical industry.

**Educational Requirements**:
1. ITI/Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field with experience in chemical or process industry.

**Any Specific Certifications or Licenses**:
Relevant industry certifications in quality assurance, project management, or production management would be advantageous.
