Experience

Salary - 10000 to 12000+ food and accomodation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tandoor Oven Operation**:

- Maintaining the tandoor oven's temperature.
- Skilling in the correct placement and removal of foods from the tandoor.
- Cleaning and maintaining the tandoor oven.
- **Food Preparation**:

- Marinating meats and other foods for tandoor cooking.
- Preparing dough for tandoor-baked breads (naan, roti).
- Chopping vegetables and other ingredients.
- Assisting in the preparation of sauces and accompaniments.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**:

- Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Washing dishes and utensils.
- Helping with stock rotation and inventory.
- **Assisting Senior Chefs**:

- Following instructions from the chef de partie or sous chef.
- Learning and practicing tandoor cooking techniques.
- Helping with plating and presentation of dishes.
- **Adherence to Standards**:

- Ensuring that all food is prepared and cooked to the restaurant's standards.
- Following recipes and portion control guidelines.

**Essential Skills**:

- Knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients.
- Experience with tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
