**Job Summary**:
The commis chef assists in various kitchen tasks, ensuring food preparation areas are clean, ingredients are prepped, and meals are delivered to a high standard. The role includes basic cooking tasks and learning from senior chefs to develop culinary skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Assist in preparing ingredients for dishes, such as washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling.
- Prepare basic dishes under supervision (e.g., sauces, soups, and garnishes).
- Assist in setting up the kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
- **Cooking Assistance**:

- Follow recipes and prepare dishes according to the chef’s guidelines.
- Support with plating and presentation for quality control.
- Learn and practice cooking techniques from senior chefs.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**:

- Clean and maintain workstations, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup.
- Help organize storage areas and monitor stock levels for freshness and quality.
- **Team Support**:

- Cooperate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Handle deliveries, organize ingredients, and report shortages to supervisors.
- Observe and learn from experienced chefs to grow culinary knowledge and skills.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education/Training**: Culinary school or relevant training is preferred but not required.
- **Experience**: Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential; passion for cooking is a must.
- **Skills**: Good knife skills, food safety knowledge, and a basic understanding of culinary techniques.
- **Personal Attributes**: Eager to learn, able to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, and teamwork-oriented.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical demands include standing for long hours, lifting, and working in hot environments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,039.30 per month
