**Career Area**:Manufacturing & Supply Chain**:

- Addresses day-to-day supplier constraints to improve supplier performance and their ability to rapidly respond to Caterpillar requirements.
- Leads project teams comprised of multi-functional resources, including Order Management, Inventory Management, Site Purchasing, Category Purchasing, Operations, Product Group, Transportation teams to improve supplier performance.
- Works collaboratively with suppliers and Process partners to address and resolve supplier issues using root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
- Leads team to help suppliers to build lean supply chain capability in the areas of Planning, Response times, optimized logistics and capacity planning.

People: - Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.

Leadership: No direct reports. Will demonstrate project leadership skill level required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.

Strategy: Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of Global Parts Supply strategic initiatives.

Customers: This role needs close interaction with Strategic and Site Purchasing Teams, Warehouse and other process partners including Transportation teams and Customer Service Teams.

**ELIGIBILITY**:

- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics & Manufacturing.
- Facilitation skills demonstrated through your ability to manage projects, lead discussions and guide teams though execution of high impact initiatives.
- A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.
- Extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive common supply chain processes across process partners.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of lean concepts and tools and 6 Sigma Project Management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Oral & Written Communication skills
