As a Housekeeping Guest Service Associate at our 4-star hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will be expected to interact with guests professionally, responding to their needs promptly, and creating a welcoming and relaxing environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Guest Room Cleaning**
- Clean and arrange guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to the hotel's standards.
- Change linens, make beds, dust, vacuum, and sanitize bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room amenities and ensure all guest requests are addressed.
- ** Public Area Maintenance**
- Clean and maintain lobbies, elevators, hallways, and other public areas to ensure they are presentable at all times.
- Ensure the cleanliness of stairwells, windows, and floor areas as required.
- ** Guest Interaction and Service**
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or room services.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering timely, courteous service.
- ** Safety and Security**
- Follow all hotel safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, lost items, or unsafe conditions to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Handle and label lost-and-found items appropriately and promptly.
- ** Inventory and Stock Management**
- Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, keeping them well-organized.
- Report any shortages of supplies or damage to equipment for timely replenishment.
- ** Additional Duties**
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, carpet shampooing, or special housekeeping tasks as required.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
