- 7-8 yrs- Solaris:

OS installation/Administration, ZFS, NFS, System Health monitoring, Ldom Configuration and troubleshooting and Solaris 11 and Sun cluster, Control domain administration, Performance tuning etc.Linux:

- RHEL/Ubentu/Cent OS administration, Hands on exp on LVM, Disk Management, File system, Backups, repository management etc.
- Unix/Solaris administrator/expert (SME)
- Good understanding of the concepts of system architectures, operating systems - Solaris / Linux
- Understanding of Operating System performance analysis and Ldom Configuration and troubleshooting and Solaris 11 and Sun cluster
- Understanding of Sun’s Hardware and Software architecture.- Virtualization technologies ( Zones / LDOMS )
- File systems (ZFS, UFS)
- Patching / Live upgrade / Jump start / Automated Installer
- Solaris 11 knowledge and Open stack / IPS is an Advantage
- Knowledge of Linux
- Ability to read and understand source code.
- Ability to write and understand shell script, Dtrace script, Python, c-code (C-Language) And Java Language.- Knowledge of various authentication methods basic understand is enough
- A good understanding of Java errors especially exception stacks. A basic understanding of objects / OOPS- Basic understanding of networking or good understanding about networking layers / protocols.
- Problem Management on UNIX Solaris platform. Perform Root Cause Analysis using quality tools.
