Swim Program Coordinator

Job Overview:
The Swim Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the swim coaching program, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality instruction across all age categories. Acting as the key point of contact for coaches, management, and parents, the coordinator is responsible for managing coach schedules, monitoring student progress, and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering the development of both students and staff while continuously improving program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coach and Team Management:

- Act as the liason between all swim coaches, program director, master trainer, and

operations manager.
- Take full ownership of coaching operations across all batches and age groups in the

designated centre
- Conduct some of batches as the coach, ensuring high-quality instruction and setting a

standard for coaching excellence.
- Take complete ownership of coach scheduling, ensuring optimal use of team members.
- Manage swimming instructors' timesheets, holiday requests, and substitutions.
- Ensure consistent fulfillment of coach responsibilities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for coaches, enabling them to

perform at their best and deliver consistent results in line with the program’s standards.
- To ensure relevant staff members are made aware of up-to-date tasks, information,

bookings etc.as required.

2. Program Delivery & Monitoring:

- Ensure the Swim program is delivered effectively across all batches, following

the academy’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Regularly monitor student progression through the levels of the Swim Scooled program.
- Lead the assessments with the coaches team on a regular basis to ensure student

development.
- Ensure weekly training sessions are consistently held in coordination with the Program

Director.
- Provide ongoing, constructive feedback in the form of reports to the Program Director

to drive continuous improvement and ensure the effective delivery of the program.

3. Safety & Operations:

- Ensure all safety measures are implemented within the pool premises.
- Oversee and maintain operational standards to deliver the highest quality service across

all swim coaching activities.
- Address and resolve challenges faced by the team ensuring swift resolution.

4. Customer Service & Communication:

- Serve as the point of contact with parents regarding coaching issues, providing patient,

professional, and well-reasoned responses.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to customer queries helpfully and

efficiently.

5. Talent Identification & Development:

- Identify talented swimmers and nurture their growth for better performance and progress.

6. Administrative Duties:

- Assist in planning and conducting annual meets at the academy.
- Take on other duties as requested by management, in alignment with company policies

and values.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify and suggest areas for continuous improvement and development within the

program.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field

(preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing or coordinating swim programs.
- Proven experience in managing teams, especially in a coaching or sports environment.
- Previous experience as a swim coach or instructor is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate

coaches.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to handle coach scheduling, assessments, and

program administration.
- Knowledge of pool safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols within

the swim program.
- A genuine passion for swimming, developing talent, and promoting a high standard of

excellence in the program.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
