Packing Supervisor

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Accurately pack products according to specifications and ensure proper labeling for shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track and document packing activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve packing processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Handle materials with care, performing heavy lifting as required while following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
**Qualifications**
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, with a focus on packing or shipping & receiving roles.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and logistics operations is highly desirable.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with materials handling equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Team management skills are beneficial for those interested in leadership roles within the warehouse.
