Job Description Summary

Through the direction of a team leader, Ag Operations Specialist, or fleet coordinator this position is responsible for the operation of tractor “yard dog” to facilitate the delivery of raw materials to the plant and warehouse personnel. Yard dog drivers are responsible for safe and efficient operation of their trucks and for maintaining all pertinent records and paperwork of trans loaded raw material.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires two to three years of related experience and/or training.
- A valid (CDL) driver’s license and Medical Card. Must be able to pass Lamb Weston’s vehicle driving test, background check and drug screen.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in the operation of truck equipment, including its design, uses, emergency repair, and maintenance.
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Ability to complete assigned duties with mínimal supervision.
- Some basic computer skills (for printing tickets at scale shack).
