Footwear Designer

**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Research market trends, seasonal themes, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
- Develop creative concepts, sketches, and mood boards for new footwear designs.
- Create detailed technical drawings and **tech packs** for the sampling and production teams.
- Select materials, colors, components, and trims suited to design and production requirements.
- Work closely with product development, merchandising, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and brand consistency.
- Participate in prototype reviews, fit trials, and product testing for comfort and durability.
- Ensure that designs meet cost targets, quality standards, and production timelines.
- Contribute to sustainable and innovative design practices.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Footwear Design**, **Fashion Design**, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software; knowledge of 3D design tools (e.g., CLO 3D, Rhino) is a plus.
- Strong creativity with an eye for detail, color, and materials.
- Understanding of footwear construction, patterns, and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio will also be considered.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bhiwandi, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- footwear designing : 2 years (required)
