As a medical scribe, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters, transcribing medical histories, and assisting healthcare providers with administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinical operations.

**Responsibilities**:
Documentation: Record patient medical histories, symptoms, physical examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other pertinent information accurately and in real-time during patient encounters.

Assistance: Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks such as managing electronic health records (EHR), scheduling appointments, and organizing patient charts.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with healthcare providers, patients, and other members of the healthcare team to facilitate smooth workflows and ensure accurate documentation.

Data Entry: Enter patient information into electronic health record systems with precision and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and confidentiality guidelines.

Coding and Billing Support: Assist with coding and billing processes by accurately documenting procedures, diagnoses, and other relevant information to facilitate insurance claims and reimbursement.

Quality Assurance: Review and verify documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established protocols and guidelines, making corrections or clarifications as needed.

Training and Development: Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements through ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance job performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in typing and data entry.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Certification as a medical scribe may be required or preferred, depending on the employer.

Working Conditions:
Medical scribes typically work in clinical settings such as hospitals, physician offices, or urgent care centers. They may spend long periods sitting and using computers to document patient encounters. The job may involve occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts, depending on the healthcare facility's hours of operation

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
