**Key Roles and Responsibilities**.
- **Patient Admission and Discharge Billing**:

- Verify billing records for admissions and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with the medical and nursing teams to finalize billing before patient discharge.
- Ensure discharge bills are cleared and settled according to hospital policies.
- **Insurance Claim Processing**:

- Coordinate with insurance providers to verify patient coverage and pre-authorizations.
- Prepare insurance claims with accurate documentation for approval and settlement.
- Follow up on pending insurance claims and resolve any rejections or discrepancies.
- **Payment Collection and Reconciliation**:

- Collect payments from patients or their representatives.
- Record all financial transactions accurately in the hospital’s billing system.
- Reconcile daily billing entries and provide reports to the finance department.
- **Collaboration with Departments**:

- Work closely with the admissions, medical, nursing, pharmacy, and finance departments to ensure accurate billing.
- Coordinate with these departments to track patient services and related charges.
- **Maintaining Billing Records**:

- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient billing records for audit and review purposes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies regarding billing documentation.

Pay: ₹17,871.93 - ₹25,175.22 per month
