**Opening for Business Development Officer**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Market Research**: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and competitors.
- **Business Strategy**: Develop and implement business development strategies to increase the occupancy rate and enhance the hostel's reputation.
- **Partnerships**: Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, corporate organizations, and other relevant entities to drive referrals and collaborations.
- **Sales & Marketing**: Create and execute sales and marketing campaigns to promote the hostel and attract new residents.
- **Networking**: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote the hostel.
- **Customer Engagement**: Engage with current and prospective residents to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the hostel management team to align business development activities with overall operational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the hospitality or education sector.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
