Horticulturist

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Planting Design & Documentation**:

- Develop comprehensive planting drawings and specifications aligned with design concepts.
- Select appropriate plant species based on design intent, local climate, soil conditions, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the design team to integrate planting plans with overall landscape layouts.
- **Site Supervision**:

- Oversee planting execution on-site, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on plants, soil preparation, and planting techniques.
- Provide guidance to site teams and contractors to ensure best horticultural practices.
- **Maintenance Oversight**:

- Develop maintenance schedules and guidelines for plant care, including pruning, watering, fertilization, and pest management.
- Conduct periodic site visits to monitor plant health and recommend corrective actions.
- Train site staff and contractors in proper plant care techniques.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with landscape architects, clients, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
- Address client inquiries regarding plant selection and maintenance.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Educational Background**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Horticulture, Botany, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in landscape design and implementation.
- Proven expertise in creating planting plans and managing site execution.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software such as Cad, Microsoft Excel and power-point.
- Strong knowledge of regional plant species, soil science, and sustainable landscaping practices.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for site coordination and client interaction.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: ₹10,599.32 - ₹40,728.00 per month
