**Job Title**: QS Civil Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for civil engineering projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and contracts.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Prepare and analyze project cash flow forecasts and financial statements.
- Handle variations, change orders, and claims management.
- Review and verify contractor invoices and progress payments.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project cost control.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project documentation and correspondence.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in UAE/GCC projects.
- Prior experience working in an engineering consultancy is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to project cost management.
- Preference for immediate joiners.
