**Roles and Responsibilities - Oracle DBA (L2)**
- **Plan and allocate system storage** efficiently to support current and future database growth, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- **Administer user access and roles**, enforce security policies, and manage authorizations to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.
- **Implement and maintain database security controls**, in accordance with organizational SLAs and industry best practices.
- **Monitor and respond to database security alerts**, proactively addressing vulnerabilities to uphold data integrity and compliance.
- **Demonstrate proficiency with core Oracle technologies**, including:

- Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Pump, and ASM
- Oracle 11g performance tuning, SQL Networking, Grid Infrastructure, and CRS (Cluster Ready Services) management
- Firewall configuration and database network security management
- **Leverage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control** for monitoring, maintenance, and proactive database administration.
- **Manage database changes and releases**, following structured deployment processes with appropriate risk mitigation.
- **Execute complex database migrations and upgrades**, collaborating with global teams, including offshore counterparts, to ensure seamless transitions.
