Audiologists play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating disorders related to hearing and balance.

**Responsibility & Deliverable**:

- Hearing Assessment
- Treatment Planning and Intervention
- Balance Assessment and Rehabilitation
- Counseling and Education
- Follow-up Care and Monitoring

**Activities**:

- Assess hearing and balance problems using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing health, treatment options, and communication strategies.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive devices, ensuring proper function and comfort for the patient.
- Develop and implement rehabilitative programs to help patients adjust to hearing loss and improve communication skills.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists and speech-language pathologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation of services provided.

**Knowledge Required**:

- Anatomy and Physiology
- Hearing Science
- Knowledge of hearing aid technology and ability to fit and adjust hearing aids
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Valid certification or registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

**Experience**:1 to 2 years (Freshers can also apply)

- Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
