We are Hiring Product Manager - Design & Estimation for a leading company

Location: Pune

Designation:Product Manager

**Responsibilities**:
1. Product Design:

- Utilize CAD software to design sheet metal products according to client

specifications and project requirements.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, including dimensions, materials, and assembly

instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional,

aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve product designs for efficiency, performance, and

cost-effectiveness.

2. Material Estimation:

- Analyze project specifications and design requirements to determine material needs

for sheet metal fabrication.
- Conduct material take-offs and quantify required quantities of various metals, such

as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Research and evaluate material suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Estimate material costs accurately, considering factors such as waste, scrap, and

market fluctuations.

3. Labor Estimation:

- Break down product designs into manufacturing processes and operations.
- Estimate labor hours required for each process, including cutting, bending, welding,

and finishing.
- Consider factors affecting labor efficiency, such as equipment capabilities, skill

levels, and production schedules.
- Collaborate with production managers and engineers to refine labor estimates

based on practical considerations and past performance data.

4. Cost Analysis and Pricing:

- Compile material and labor cost estimates to calculate the total production cost for

each sheet metal product.
- Analyze cost breakdowns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value

engineering.
- Develop pricing strategies that align with market trends, competitor pricing, and

company profitability goals.
- Present cost analysis and pricing recommendations to management and sales teams

for decision-making.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of product designs, material specifications, and cost

estimates.
- Generate reports summarizing project costs, profitability, and variance analysis.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure

alignment on project requirements and cost expectations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Sheet Metal Fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
- Product Design & Estimation: 3 years (preferred)
- Labor cost analysis & Estimation: 3 years (preferred)
