**Position Title**:Solution Architect, Logistics Execution **Position Type**: Regular - Full-Time **Position Location**: Gurgaon **Grade**: Grade 04 **Requisition ID**: 33002 **JOB PURPOSE**: **The Solution Architect supports process transformation and product development by bridging the specific business problems (and issues) to the technologies that support them. In this role you will be a solution thought leader in the Supply Chain Portfolio in architecting and implementing sophisticated solutions aimed at expanding McCain’s Supply Chain transportation and logistics execution capabilities.** **If you possess a profound acumen for complex problem-solving, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and solutions, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our team at McCain.** **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**: - ** Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs in SAP and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.** - ** Own and maintain the overall integrated solution architecture for supply chain execution systems for transportation and logistics.** - ** Take a leadership position in the technology roadmap and establish a vision by**: - ** Remaining at the forefront of technological advancements within the supply chain management domain, providing proactive recommendations for innovative solutions.** - ** Exhibiting technical leadership by guiding the selection and assimilation of technologies that augment the efficiency and efficacy of our supply chain processes.** - ** Maintain systems encompassing Enterprise Architecture, Solution documentation, Business Process Management, process materials (e.g. SOPs) and other related documentation repositories in line with our aim to have best-in-class documentation.** - ** Collaborate with the Product Owner, Functional Engineers, Solution Architects and Global & Regional Supply Chain business to develop solutions.** - ** Provide support to portfolio architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.** - ** Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation and innovation).** **MEASURES OF SUCCESS**: - ** Prior experience in organizations leveraging SAP ECC or S/4 as its ERP** - ** Experience in Consumer Products considered an asset** - ** Highly proficient in SAP ECC - Shipping, SAP ECC - Logistics Execution, SAP ECC - Transportation; S/4 Basic Shipping.** - ** Experience in industry leading Transportation management (TMS) Systems (SAP TM, Blue Yonder, e2Open/BluJay, etc.)** - ** Experience with Real Time Transportation Visibility Platforms (e.g. FourKites, project44)** - ** Process depth and breadth within supply chaining execution including but not limited to Transportation Planning and Execution and Delivery Order Management.** - ** Application Portfolio Management (APM): Hands on experience implementing APM with one or more leading EA tool would be an asset. LeanIX experience is an asset.** - ** Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps).** - ** Experience in key technology domains including Cloud, Containers, API, Events, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, Data and AI.** - ** Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, engaging with multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders.** - ** Collaborates with other architects at the Architecture Review Board (ARB)** **KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES**: - ** Ten or more years of experience designing and leading creative architecture solutions** - ** Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.** - ** Proven track record as a Solution Architect in the realm of supply chain management or related domains.** - ** Profound knowledge of supply chain processes inclusive of procurement, supply chain planning, logistics, distribution and transportation.** - ** Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.** - ** Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.** - ** Architecture experience in Agriculture and food manufacturing is considered an asset.** - ** A certification in enterprise architecture such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is considered and asset.** - ** A professional certification as an architect with an industry-recognized organization.** - McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
