Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues in laptops and other PCB devices down to the chip level.

Identify faulty components and replace them with precise soldering techniques.

Perform advanced repairs on motherboards, graphics cards, processors, and other integrated components.

Work with various diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering stations to perform repairs.

Analyze schematics and circuit diagrams to understand the architecture of devices and locate faults.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to exchange knowledge and solve complex problems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware trends and repair techniques in the industry.

Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, components used, and testing procedures.

Ensure repaired devices meet quality standards and perform necessary testing before returning to customers.

Provide repair estimates and communicate with customers regarding the status of their devices.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and maintain proper handling of sensitive components.

Adhere to safety protocols while handling electronic components and hazardous materials.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications in electronics or related fields are a plus.

Proven experience in chip-level repair of laptops and other PCB devices.

Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and signal flow.

Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques, including SMD (Surface Mount Device) soldering.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Detail-oriented mindset to ensure precision during repairs.

Adaptability to evolving repair techniques and technologies.

Prior experience in a professional electronics repair environment is preferred.
