Error Makes Clever is a leading edutech startup based in Chennai, specializing in delivering high-quality online IT courses in Tamil. We empower students with in-demand tech skills and aim to secure excellent placement opportunities for them through strategic corporate partnerships.
**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven **Placement Officer - Field Work** to strengthen our corporate relations. In this role, you will spend 90% of your time visiting companies, building relationships with HR professionals and hiring managers, and securing placement opportunities for our students. This position is pivotal to ensuring our students achieve successful career outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Regularly visit companies to establish and maintain strong corporate partnerships.
- Identify hiring needs and placement opportunities in the IT sector and align them with student profiles.
- Develop and nurture relationships with HRs, hiring managers, and decision-makers to create a robust placement network.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand student skills and align them with corporate requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of corporate engagements and provide regular updates to management.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate relations, placement coordination, preferably in the education or IT sector.
- Strong network of connections within the corporate world, particularly in the IT industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of securing placement opportunities or forging corporate partnerships.
- Ability to work independently, manage field activities effectively, and meet targets.
- Familiarity with hiring trends and IT job roles is a plus.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
